Proud to be a B Corp
Good news! StudioLR is now a certified B Corp – part of a global movement working to benefit people and planet.
After 22 years in business, doing what we felt was right, and using creativity as a force for good, we’ve finally made it official.
‘So, what the LR B Corps?’ we hear you ask…
B Corporations, or B Corps for short, are companies who meet the highest social, environmental, and governance standards. Easy to claim, but hard to prove. And B Corp certification does exactly that – helping us measure our impact and hold ourselves accountable.
The B stands for ‘benefit for all’. And that’s kind of the whole point. This isn’t really about us. It’s about seeing the bigger picture and making a positive impact on our people, clients, partners, community, and planet.
We all need each other, so it makes sense to do right by each other.
It’s been tough work, but going through the certification process has brought so much home for us.
We’ve always believed in the long-lasting impact of a job done properly, with guts. We’ve never gone in for trends and fads, and we’ve strived to work with genuine depth. To keep brands out of landfill.
But that’s not a solo pursuit.
We’ve always squirmed a bit when described as a ‘supplier’. And we wouldn’t dream of calling any of our fantastic collaborators that.
Because we know all of our best work is done in close partnership. All the award-winning, KPI-smashing, ROI-generating, pride-building work. It’s always made side-by-side, looking forward together for long-lasting impact.
And that’s the beautiful part of the B Corp movement. You don’t get to keep the certification unless you keep on improving your impact – year after year.
So here’s to many more decades making great things together, for the benefit of us all.
