Brand development and marketing
We helped Resource Solutions Group (RSG) – one of the UK’s largest independent recruitment companies – to unite its five brands with a single, purposeful positioning and identity. A high-growth business with a half-billion-pound turnover, RSG had evolved over time – leading to a confusingly complex brand architecture.
Searching for the thread that bound a thriving business, we ran workshop sessions with the Board and over 100 employees. We uncovered a unique business model – not a salesperson in sight. The new business philosophy was built on reputation – built up through well-nurtured, long-term relationships. There were no volume-driven sales incentives. No hammering of the phones. No egos.
Partnership was at the heart of the business and, as a brand idea, it gave us a hook to show five brands united under one new name. With no place for a self-centred identity – the ‘and’ in Sanderson became the hero.
With a refreshing and varied visual style, and a conversational tone of voice, we helped Sanderson stand apart from its corporate-feeling competitors. We created everything from the brand positioning, tone of voice, identity and guidelines, to the digital advertising campaign, ongoing collateral and even office graphics.
